We visited the Nicollet Island Inn. And this is my Nicollet Island Inn Restaurant Review.

Then a grain mill and after that a Salvation Army soup kitchen. Located at 95 Merriam Street, Minneapolis. My impressions

Consider location of  Nicollet Island Inn. Unquestionably, you will find this exceptional restaurant also, has some of the best views in Minnesota. In particular, it’s surrounded on all sides by the waters of the Mississippi River. Also has amazing Minneapolis bridge and skyline views! As well as, a charming hotel and open grounds that are perfect for a wedding.

Main Course

12oz Premium Angus Strip Steak

Undoubtedly, I found this perfectly prepared. As well as, top quality steak. Also, served with fingerling potatoes, broccolini and tomatoes. Also includes bone marrow Maitre d’ butter and Bordelaise.

Seared Sea Scallops

It was so good! Served with smoked corn puree and chorizo. Also tomato and radish salad.

Whole Colorado rack of lamb

Mountain prairie raised. Was served with eight ribs which was a large serving. Quite frankly, the most tender and lean I have ever had. These are the best I have found!

 

My suggestion

Try the five-course tasting. The menu changes daily and it wonderful. Also it is a great value. Consider the paired wines…and take an Uber home.

Would love to. During every season it has breathtaking views, great specials and exceptional food quality.

We had my daughters graduation party there a few years ago. And they made it special!
