AM Radio Frequency: 690 AM This Asian station plays classic and today’s top Hmong American music. It also broadcasts local, national and international news in Hmong/Lao and other Asian languages. WDGY – WDGY The Original Rock ‘n’ Roll Station Frequency: 740 AM “Wee Gee” plays legendary rock ‘n’ roll artists from the 1960s and ’70s. Paul Geiger is the morning DJ followed by Dave Otto in the afternoon. Jeff Butler DJs on the weekends. KUOM – Radio K KUOM is the University of Minnesota’s student-run, non-commercial station. Genres include independent, ambient, metal, hip-hop, jazz, punk, reggae and more. The station aims to promote local musicians. WCCO – WCCO News Radio WCCO provides local and national news as well as weather updates. Dave Lee hosts the weekday morning news, and Mike Max hosts the weeknight sports show. KTIS – FAITH 900 Started in 1949, the goal of KTIS is to nurture Christian spiritual growth. Programs on this nonprofit station feature Christ-centered preaching, teaching and conversations. KTNF – The Progressive Voice of Minnesota KTNF is a liberal talk station offering news and local and national programming. Shows include Democracy Now!, The Thom Hartmann Show, The Stephanie Miller Show and The Union Edge. KKMS – AM 980 The Mission Program topics cover Bible studies, family issues and more. Hosts include Eric Metaxas, Alistair Begg, Dr. J. Vernon McGee and Jay Sekulow. WCTS – The Bible Station WCTS began in 1965 as a ministry of Central Seminary. Programming features Bible teachings and conservative Christian music. KYMN – The One This station features community voices, news, weather, sports and a wide-range of musical programming. Jeff Johnson hosts the morning show followed by The Wayne Eddy Affair. KLBB – KLBB The Music of Your Life Since 1949, KLBB has been playing timeless favorites from artists such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Barbara Streisand. You’ll also hear current artists such as Michael Buble’ and Diana Krall. The station is also the home of the St. Paul Saints, the Green Bay Packers, Stan Turner’s All Request Lunch Hour and the Super Saver Show. Frequency: 1280 AM One of the oldest radio stations in the Twin Cities, WWTC’s Programming includes national shows hosted by Michael Medved, Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager and more. Local news is also featured. Frequency: 1330 AM WLOL offers programs for Catholic listeners that cover topics such as family, relationships, politics, social concerns and news. You’ll hear programs including Father Simon Says, Go Ask Your Father, The Inner Life and The Drew Mariani Show. KMNQ – Radio La Invasora The station airs regional Mexican music.
