Fall Home To Do List Minnesota

We have four seasons in Minnesota and all four require different tasks we need to do to our home. Your fall home to do list can start now.

Here is a list of the most essential to have on our fall home to do list

· Winterize your sprinkling system. This blowout can be done by companies in your area. Cost is about $75-125.

· Do your fall lawn fertilization. This gets your yard ready for spring.

· Drain your outside faucet and bleed them at the valve inside your basement. Then leave the faucet open after you have shut off the water to the faucet.

· Clean the exterior of your windows and enjoy the winter views.

· Clean your gutters to prevent winter ice dams.

· Remove leaves from your lawn and landscaping.

· Prepare your snowblower for winter.

· Have your furnace inspected and cleaned in preparation for winter.

· Buy ice melt and I recommend the pet and environment friendly product.

· Caulk around the base of skylights if you have them.

· Turn off breaker to your AC unit. This prevents accidental starting and damage to the unit. Then cover the top of the outside unit.

· Make sure dryer vents are clean.
