Our impressions
The two of us decided on the Hibachi grill where the teppanyaki chefs put on a show as you sit around the open grill. The chef was entertaining and great with the family with kids at our table. In addition, the wait service was prompt and drinks were quickly filled. Additionally, the restaurant is very well laid out. You will find the bar and sitting area in the front. The sushi dining room next to that. And the huge Habachi grill area is in the rear.
The food
. Here is our selections and impressions.
Habachi cooked shrimp and scallops – The shrimp is perfectly done and had excellent flavor. The scallops had nice flavor but was gritty.
Fried rice – Always good here, has egg added and also nicely spiced
Ginger & shrimp sauces – These really enhance the meal. The ginger sauce is wonderful!
Clear broth onion soup – not normally my favorite but in this case we both liked it
Would I go there again?
Yes, they also have excellent sushi and a full bar and I have been there many times before. On other visits for lunch and dinner I have had the sushi. I found it fresh, well served and lastly delicious! In addition, there are some lunch combos that are perfectly sized and portioned. The sake menu has many good options. It was lunch in so the crowd was small but in comparison make a reservation for an evening visit. Make sure you check online for coupons since they are frequently available.
