At the Minnesota Real Estate Jeff Anderson web site is where I got my first glimpse at Minnesota Real Estate. We were relocating from Southern California and I was unsure what to expect of this state I had never contemplated living. Jeff answered all my endless emails before I made the trip out and when we met I was blown away by what is called the Minnesota Niceness. Jeff took the niceness a step further professionally and went the extra mile to show me houses where ever I wanted to look, basically almost all the Minneapolis suburbs. We're sure you remember when Rasha first got in touch with you over the Internet. It was January 1997, we lived in Delaware and were trying to decide where we wanted to settle down. At that time, Dan was just about to get out of the Air Force and we weren't sure where we wanted to live. We'd checked out several cities, including Baltimore, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, and in each one we contacted a realtor to help us gauge the value of our housing dollar. Although we weren't sure we wanted to live here and you weren't guaranteed our business, you set up a full day of house-hunting. The wonderful tour of homes and your generous, tireless attitude were major factors in our decision to move here in June 1997. At first we weren't sure what kind of house we wanted. A little over a year ago, we sat in our house in Sweden and started discussing a possible overseas move to Minnesota. We wanted better schools for our talented daughters, and Elena had been living away from her family and relatives for 11+ years.

Our first step was to research the Internet for information about the Twin Cities, the housing market and the school districts. We were fortunate to quickly find Jeff Anderson's website. One evening, we composed an email expressing our wishes and needs, and sent it off to Jeff. Already on the following morning we had a reply from Jeff, who knew hot to utilize the seven hour time difference between Minnesota and Sweden to give a quick response. Jeff opened a 'drop box' for us, enabling us to quickly review Twin Cities houses for sale, over the internet.

In early 1988, we made the decision to move to the Twin Cities by July 1. We continued the email and 'drop box' dialog with Jeff, who always responded promptly. In March, Christian was on a business trip, and was able to schedule a weekend meeting with Jeff. This was the first 'live' meeting, and Jeff gave a two hour tour to areas that we had expressed prior interest in. He also provided is with an excellent map book of the Twin Cities, that we had - and still have - tremendous use of as being new to the area.

In late June, we arrived in Wisconsin where we stayed with family over the summer, while commuting to the Twin Cities about three time a week. Our house search became more specific, and we were deciding between two houses west of Minneapolis. Jeff took us to these and several other houses, and detected intuitively that we were missing something. He suggested, and almost insisted at this time, that we ought to see a specific house in Apple Valley. Apple Valley had not been included in our search until then. With slight hesitation, we went along with Jeff, as we respectfully knew he felt and understood our needs very well. And he was right: This house, area and school district offered exactly what we had been looking for all this time.

As only one of us had employment at closing time, we were concerned about the financing of this transaction. Jeff took care of that too, by introducing us to an excellent mortgage broker in his personal network of professionals. Jeff was with us at the August closing, and has continued to represent us in his pleasant and personable way to ensure that the seller has completed all agreed upon contract terms. Jeff personifies the true meaning of 'customer service excellence', and makes himself always accessible, efficiently utilizing traditional and modern technologies.

Our experience with realtors in the past 20 years has been mixed. Therefore, especially considering that this was our biggest moving project ever, we really needed a top-of-the-line, creative and professional realtor at this time. With Jeff, that is what we got - and more. He knows time management, when to lead and when to stay back, how to communicate with men, women and children - in hie professional but personable style. During our frequent interaction over a year, he has not only been our realtor but also become a very dear friend, lately to also include his charming family.

When my wife and I considered moving to Minnesota, I browsed the Net for possible realtors. Jeff Anderson's website was the most impressive and useful realty site I had ever seen. I can't tell you how much we appreciate your professionalism and all around "good-guyness" over the past year. We're so happy in our new home and we owe some of this to you. When we were married a year ago, the task of selling two houses and buying another that would be "ours" seemed like an insurmountable task. Yet, you stepped in and got the job done.

From the beginning I knew things were going to be different when I met Jeff Anderson. Instead of fumbling through multiple listing books and forgetting what page "that house was on", Jeff had a packet ready with pictures and descriptions of each house. We started at the top and saw the houses in order. I gave Jeff parameters as far as price, schools and how far from work I wanted to live. All the houses fit the parameters. If I did not like a particular house, we moved on. "No hard sell".

The second to the last house we saw I liked. Jeff arranged for me to see a loan officer the next day and the wheels were in motion for the purchase.

A big hurdle for us was the fact that my wife had not seen it, as she was still in California. Jeff took a video of the house and sent it via Federal Express to my wife. From the video, she gave her blessing for the purchase.

Every real estate transaction in my life prior to this had a "screw up". If any transaction should have become screwed up, this should have been the one. My wife hadn't seen the house. I left for California the next day after the purchase and I wasn't even at the closing!
