See the fall colors in Minnesota.
Let me tell you about it.
Minnesota offers four distinct seasons and fall is the favorite of many of us in Minnesota. We enjoy wonderful temperatures and breathtaking fall colors!
When is the peak season?
A very good resource is the DNR’s autumn peak page. Our season runs now in Northern Minnesota to mid-October in the most southeast corner of the state.
Another great resource.
The Forest Service gives you lots of information on the science of understanding the change of seasons and a link to NASA images from space.
Where sound I go to see the fall colors?
I personally like to view it from the water. Look for paddleboat cruises on the Mississippi River or St. Croix River. For a wonderful list of Minnesota parks to see the fall colors visit https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/events.html.
This looks to be a great year to get out and enjoy the colors in Minnesota with our perfect weather we are experiencing.
