Review of Quang Restaurant in Minneapolis
Quang’s Restaurant https://www.quang-restaurant.com/ is located at 2719 Nicollet Ave. in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are open seven days a week in downtown Minneapolis. Their number is 612-870-4739. It has a 4.5 rating on Tripadviser and 4.4 on Goggle. The food was amazing and the prices reasonable. The interior is adequate but nothing special.
Some history…Quang Vietnamese Restaurant has a proud, decades-old history of serving delicious food, made by family. It was started by Lung Tran, a Vietnamese immigrant who journeyed to the U.S. in 1978 with her husband, Quang, and seven kids. In 1983, Quang passed away and Tran and her family spent a few years living in California, where she got her first taste of working in the Vietnamese food industry. After moving back to Minnesota, she saved up and in 1989 opened a small, 4-table bakery selling Vietnamese pastries and street food.
After 10 years of slow growth – from 4 tables to 9, to 13, then 20 – the family bought the restaurant across the street when it came up for sale. Today the restaurant is run by 5 of Tran’s children, although Tran still helps with management and business operations.

- Pho Beef – with beef, rice noodles, beef broth, bean sprouts, spinach and much more – simply wonderful!
- Hoisin Sauce– wonderful sauce to try with Pho.
The prices are inexpensive…my soup was $12.00 and it was all I could eat.
I give it four and a half stars **** out of five. The food is amazing, the interior is just ok service is average, the prices are very reasonable. Might be the best Vietnamese food for the money that I have ever been to.
