Review of Maruichi Udon Japanese Noodles & Tempura in Eden Prairie

Maruichi Udon is located at 13000 Technology Drive in Eden Prairie and is open Monday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. They have a 4.8 rating with 176 Google reviews. Their website https://www.maruichiudon.com/.

It is a little tricky to get there but just follow google maps. Parking is free and plentiful. The interior is bright and fun and casual. They have ordering panels that I found easy to understand and efficient. It was very clean and the bathrooms were clean as well. I like the open kitchen because you can see them prepare it and be assured sanitation rules are followed…which they were (very well organized and clean).

You place your order at the panel and then your order and you pick it up at the counter. But you can watch them prepare your food if you like.

The menu features a wonderful variety. They are known for their handcrafted made-to-order noodles and tempura. They use fresh and healthy ingredients to create authentic and flavorful Japanese cuisine.

What we had to eat.

• Chicken Katsu Tempura – crispy, fresh, and very tasty. I liked this very much and it was only priced at $4.25.
• Beef Udon – (not pictured) the noodles were amazing; beef was better than average and the Kake soup was so flavorful. Priced at $12.95.
• Salmon Sushi Taco – this was too fishy and I did not eat it. Priced at $7.45.
• Beef Curry Onigiri – nice portion, very fresh and flavorful. A full meal. Priced at $14.95.

I gave it four out of five stars, it was clean, decorated in a fun casual style, staff were very friendly and food was wonderful except for the salmon sushi tacos. I will go there again!
