Review of Kyndred Hearth Restaurant in Eagan

 

Located in the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel in Eagan at 2611 Nordic Way. Their website is https://www.omnihotels.com/hotels/viking-lakes-minnesota/dining/kyndred-hearth?utm_source=gmblisting&utm_medium=organic. They have a 4.5 star google rating with 225 reviews.

 

I was there for the first time with a friend and we had a very enjoyable dinner and time.

 

They had a very nice menu but unfortunately it is a pdf and I can’t link to it. I website is subpar for this restaurant and so don’t judge a book by its cover. The menu favorites from Ann Kim who is a James Beard award-winning chef.

 

Here is the review of what we enjoyed…

 

• Chicken liver pate’ – served with flatbread. It was fantastic and a value at $12.00.
• Korean braised short rib – with miso polenta and Bok choy. Beautiful presentation and great taste. It was little fatty but that’s pretty normal for this meat.
• Found the wine selection to be excellent.

The space itself is beautiful, kind of causal but yet elegant. They have a huge copper pizza oven that is quite impressive.

 

Our server was TJ, and she was excellent.

 

We got there at 5pm on a Thursday night and didn’t need a reservation. Parking is plentiful and free.

 

I give it five stars ***** out of five. This is a must go to restaurant if you are in the area.
