Review of COV in Edina
Located in the Galleria in Edina at 3155 Galleria. COV https://www.covedina.com/ is a lovely 8,000 square-foot space the has a large center bar, huge patios for summer dining and lots of charming interior areas for lunch/dining and special events. The food is American cuisine with a Nantucket atmosphere.
I have been there quite a few times and every time has been a wonderful experience. In the summer the patio is a great place to dine. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities and it has a sister COV restaurant in downtown Wayzata overlooking the Wayzata Bay.

Here is the review of some of what we enjoyed…
- Lobster Guacamole – wonderful starter with huge pieces of lobster and served with chips. It was amazing but I would ask for some hot sauce to add to it for some more flavor.
- Seared Sea Scallops – four large sea scallops that were perfectly prepared and served with a beetroot risotto that was unusual but quite to my liking.
- Lobster Tortelloni- four large shells filled with lobster and in a wonderful cream sauce.
There is so much to choose from on the menu from great fish and seafood, sushi, steaks, salads and wonderful Hors’d. Prices are $22-$55 and you can expect to an average of $40 a meal.
They don’t accept reservations unless you have a large table in so be prepared for a wait if you go there in primetime hours.
Our server was excellent.
The deco is relaxing and yet sophisticated, but they are always packed and it can be a little loud.
I give it five stars ***** out of five. This is a must go to restaurant if you like great food and wonderful atmosphere!
