Rosemount Minnesota is in Dakota County in the State of Minnesota. Located in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area that has 3.52 million residents. It was established as a township in 1858 and a city in 1972. In 1853 the first settlers came from Scotland. Then came the hordes of Irish catholic settlers. The Rosemount High School nickname is the Irish and a shamrock is featured on the Rosemount City flag.

Importantly, it is located on the with access to both downtowns of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Close to the airport and MOA, has very highly rated schools, has an abundance of recreation, low crime, and features a high quality of life. In short, I suggest considering Rosemount if you are planning to move to the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.
