On May 11th, 1858 it was named after the holy city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is located west of the Twin Cities and 26 minutes from Minneapolis.

My conclusion
To summarize, I have found Medina to be a popular city. Importantly, it has great amenities that include…wonderful parks, trails, and lakes, has a moderate commute to Minneapolis, some of the best schools in the nation, Baker National Golf Course, and plenty of elbow room. In short, I strongly suggest considering Median if you are planning on moving to the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
