Maple Grove is a city in Hennepin County, Minnesota .  Maple Grove is part of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The city is 17 miles northwest of Minneapolis. It is the eight largest city in Minnesota. Part of the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area.

Winnebago Indians were the inhabitants until 1851 when Louis Gervais arrived and settled. Four years later there was a church, town hall, and many homes. The city has large stands of maple trees and maple syrup. Hence, the name Maple Grove.

Maple Grove has three highly rated school districts.

They are Wayzata School District #284.

Osseo School District 279.

Anoka-Hennepin School District 11.

My conclusion

To summarize, I have found Maple Grove to be a popular city. Importantly, it features great schools and a convenient location. In addition, it has lots of parks, trails and community activities. In short, I strongly suggest considering Maple Grove if you’re planning on moving to the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
