Best fast food in the Twin Cities

This is an easy one. It was some time ago when my Uncle Bill was still alive that he took me to one of the first Culvers that is in Baraboo Wisconsin. I had a Butter Burger with area beef and Wisconsin cheese and was so impressed. He mentioned he knew the owners and that they wanted to support area farmers, have the best fresh product available, have each order made fresh to order and have friendly service. I have been to Culvers countless times since and never been disappointed.

Here are some of my favorites.

· Butter Burgers are great, and you can custom order it…loke fried and raw onions.

· Mushroom & Swiss Butter Burger…a family favorite!

· The custards are better than Dairy Queen.

· Chicken Sandwiches are from family farms.

· North Atlantic Cod sandwich is so good I have a friend that goes to Culver weekly to have one.

· The Walleye Sandwich in when it is available in season is amazing.

· Beef Pot Roast Sandwich…who does not like pot roast? And their Pot Roast Dinner!

· The shakes and malts are wonderful.

 

So many fast-food chains having the beef raising in corporate farms in Brazil, then paddies frozen and sent to the States. Also, ingredients from corporate farms from all over the world or chicken raised inhumanly like most are…it is refreshing that a fast-food company uses fresh area products and support United States farmers! I give it five stars *****! My highest rating.
