Hello and Welcome to Charger Nation!
The Dassel-Cokato School district includes students from both Dassel and Cokato as well as neighboring communities including Darwin, South Haven, and Howard Lake. It has been my privilege to live in the school district for the past 22 years and to work within the district for the past 16 years. I can personally attest to the value of living and raising your family in a small community setting. In this time I have come to understand why Dassel-Cokato is a special place for kids and families.
The Mission of Dassel-Cokato Public Schools is to educate and inspire all learners to maximize their potential, promote lifelong learning, and become contributing members of society. Recently updated in the Spring of 2018, this mission is a direct result of the Strategic Planning Committee which was comprised of school staff, business owners and community members working together and supporting the excellence in education we firmly believe in.
We offer broad curricular and extracurricular course offerings with opportunities for all learners and are committed to the idea of "life-long" learning as is evidenced by our programs serving infants through senior citizens. We are committed to high academic standards and providing the best educational opportunities for all students. The DC Schools offer high-quality programs for all students including those who are at-risk or gifted. We believe in being highly responsible with the use of taxpayer’s money, providing an excellent education at a well below average expense.
