Visit the Minnesota Zoo

Let me tell you about it

The Minnesota Zoo opened in 1978. It was a revolutionary design. With much more space the animals are organized in their natural environments as opposed to their species. Exhibits began with six themed areas, including three themed walking trails.

It is located at 13000 Zoo Boulevard, Apple Valley, MN 55124. To reach them by phone call 952-431-9200.

The Minnesota Zoo is temporarily closed for daytime attendance due to the recently revised guidelines to help curb the state-wide spread of COVID-19. You can help support the Zoo by attending our Nature Illuminated night-time drive-thru starting December 3, 2020 and ending January 17th, 2021.
