This is our review.

You can find Tavern Grill in Apple Valley, Minnesota. It is located at 15435 Founders Lane in Apple Valley. Formally known as “Vivo”. They have a 4.3 Google review, a 4 Yelp review, and a 5 rating from Trip Adviser. This review is for take-out and delivery. We used take out and it is brought out to my car. You text in your code and parking spot and they quickly deliver it.

 

Our impressions

Food was delivered hot to the car. It was still fresh and warm when I got it home.

 

The food

You have a good number of wonderful options. It is an exceptionally large menu for dining in (when that day comes again) and takeout.

OK, I love homemade potato chips and bought a deep fryer to make them at home since I like them so much. But found the work and mess too much for what little product I got. So, I ordered their Tavern Bleu Chips. Their description…A generous portion of house-made potato chips dusted with our special blend of seasonings. Topped with crispy smoked bacon, mozzarella, blue cheese crumbles and fresh basil. Comes with a wonderful sauce. $10.50. These are better than I ever made them…big enough for a meal all by itself. If you are also a fan of homemade potato chips, then these are a must have!

Another appetizer, but you get enough for almost two meals, are the Gyro sliders. These are lamb & beef gyros, with shredded lettuce, tomato, cucumber planks, feta, and Tzatziki sauce. Beware that sauce is pretty darn spicy so you might ask them to tame it down if you are not a fan of spicy food. Served on grilled slider buns. Super tasty!

Absolutely…Five-star review! In this new world of take-out or delivery it is great to find a place that has such a variety of foods and great quality! Also, when it opens indoors it has beautiful spaces, pond views and the best patio south of the river!
