The location is overlooking Wayzata Bay in downtown Wayzata. Open from 11am to 9:30pm on most days. They are very friendly as you arrive. I was there for lunch. And the service is fast and friendly. And the food is of high quality. It is a small restaurant with attractive decor.
Here is their food menu http://www.sakanamn.com/wayzata/menu.pdf. They have a wonderful menu. The menu is very extension and offers lots of choices.
Here is my selection and impressions of Sakana Sushi in Wayzata
Chef choice of 6 pieces of nigari sushi and a spicy tuna roll. The is cost $14.00. The sushi is unusual in that it is a large piece of fish that overwhelms rice. Never seen that before and I very much liked it. The fish was of excellent quality. It also had a beautiful presentation. It also came with miso soup. Which was delicate and very tasty. Quite frankly, the best miso soup I have ever had.
You bet! Next time I will come for dinner. The service was very friendly and fast. The view was wonderful. And the location for Sakana Sushi in Wayzata is great right along the lake, what more can you ask for?
