Lucky’s Tavern in Pequot Lakes Review

So many of us get away up north in the Brainerd area and need a good family restaurant that you can bring your dog to…here is one. It has a nice size fenced in patio and the food is amazing. It doesn’t have all the trendy, fancy décor but it has great food, friendly service and loves dogs.

They are located at 31020 Government Drive in downtown Pequot Lakes, just down the road from Breezy Point. They are open daily for lunch and dinner.

Here is the review of what we enjoyed…

· Hot roast beef sandwich– this is my idea of comfort food! Served with mashed potatoes, Texas toast, and smothered with gravy. You used to be able to find this across America at truck stops…but not anymore. And Lucky’s version is as good as I have ever had!

· Hamburger patty – unseasoned patty with cottage cheese for my dog. Served with a bowl of fresh water. She loved it!

For its convenient location, great home cooking and friendly service I give it five stars *****! My highest rating.
