Review of Joy’s Pattaya Thai Restaurant in Richfield
Joy’s Pattaya Thai Restaurant is located at 7545 Lyndale Ave S. in Richfield and is open Monday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. They have a 4.3 rating with 1,216 Google reviews. Their website https://www.maruichiudon.com/.
They are located on the corner of Lyndale (busy street) and have parking in the rear of the restaurant. Interior is clean, but outdated. Bathroom is clean and basic. Service was very prompt and food served vary quickly.
The menu features a wonderful variety. They have lunch specials and a wide variety of dishes and flavors.
Here is their menu www.joyspattayathairichfieldofficial.com/menu
What we had to eat.
- Crab Rolls – I love these! Include crab, avocado, cream cheese and wrapped in egg roll skin and deep-fried. Served with honey-herb sauce. Priced at $9.99.
- Thai Beef Jerky – Another favorite of mine. Marinated sliced beef then deep fried and served with spicy sauce and sticky rice. Priced at $13.99.
- Thai Seafood Fried Rice – Traditional Thai fried rice with egg, onion, green onion, carrot, Chinese broccoli and seafood. It was good but not great. Very expensive for size of portion. Priced at $23.99.
- Drunken Noodle with Beef – Pan-fried rice noodles, bell pepper, onion, tomato, basil, egg, and beef. It was a little spicy which I enjoyed but over salted, noodles where are little mushy and beef was chewy. Not bad but I will not order it again. Priced at $17.99 (no photo for this one)
I gave it four out of five stars, it was clean, outdated and tired decor, very fast service and food generally very good. I will go there again!
