Our impressions

I found it to have an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Also, it is located in a 70 year old restaurant space. So, the dining room is charming. Absolutely feels like a restaurant located in Paris. David was our waiter and he was professional and attentive. The entire staff never missed a beat. Also, water glasses always full. Food served hot. Bill presented promptly.

The food

Here is our selections and impressions.

Island Creek Oysters

Served with Seaweed mignonette. When I asked for horseradish I was promptly served. These east coast oysters are small in size. So, I suggest ordering a dozen. Excellent flavor.

Smoked Lamb Belly

This was a first for me. Absolutely loved it! One of the best appetizers I have ever had. It is served on a Socca Crepe. And with Cauliflower Giardiniera. I know it doesn’t sound appealing. But this is a must try.

Snake River Farms Zabuton Steak

The steak was presented with crispy chips. Also, Hon Shimeji and sauce Au Poivre. It was cooked perfectly to order. Therefore, had wonderful texture and flavor.

Our Drinks

That night they had a left band Bordeaux featured. Very smooth and yet slightly complex. Indeed I would have it again.

Would I go there again?

This was my first time there and absolutely, will not be my last. I will definitely put this on my ‘must visit often” list. Without a doubt this is now one of my top five in Minnesota to visit.
