We visited the Dominick’s Steakhouse. And this is my review.

My impressions

You will find this exceptional restaurant in the Scottsdale Quarter. My restaurant review of Dominick’s Steakhouse is. They have a friendly valet service that we used. We were immediately greeted by the well-dressed, and professional front desk staff. They personally escorted us to our friends at the bar while our table was being prepared. Since we were an hour early there was a short wait for our table.  The bar was very busy, and it took a little bit to get service. Once I had their attention, the service was quick and very friendly.

Appetizers

Crispy Shrimp

I found this perfectly prepared. Served with a sweet Thai chili – garlic aioli. Loaded with lots of wonderful flavor.

Main Course

Bone-in filet mignon

The filet was top quality. The bone adds additional flavor to this wonderful steak. This is the favorite steak of the regular I came with. He orders it every time.

Whole Colorado rack of lamb

Mountain prairie raised. Was served with eight ribs which was a large serving. Quite frankly, the most tender and lean I have ever had. These are the best I have found!

 

The drinks

I can only share what I had. The martini comes with a side shaker of the “extra”. So, beware you get more than one with this generous pour.  With dinner I had a glass of Chateau Boutisse Grand Cru ( 2015 St Emilion ). And it was a perfect pairing with the Rack of Lamb.

Would I go there again?

Would love to. Next time I would request Brad (our waiter) to take care of us once again. He was so attentive, and his suggestions were perfect. I don’t believe there is a better Steakhouse in Arizona. Because Dominick’s Steakhouse is a very, very special place!
