Phil’s Tara Hideaway Review in Stillwater
This historic Landmark is located on the banks of the St. Croix River in Stillwater Minnesota. This hidden gem started in 1997, Phil’s Tara Hideaway features locally grown, responsibly sourced and Mediterranean inspired cuisine.
This original log cabin home and was made into this wonderful restaurant. It has been included as a historical building, has charm and a deep woods ambiance.
The menu is comprehensive and offers many delightful appetizers, main entrees and desserts.
The items I tasted and my impressions for Phil’s Tara Hideaway Review…
Pear and Gorgonzola Salad – very fresh, wonderful dressing, caramelized onions are perfect
New York Strip – Excellent quality and amazing flavors
Fried Athenian Potatoes – something so unusual and only found here!
Prices are reasonable for the exceptional quality found here.
This is a rare find, and I recommend it unconditionally
