Main Street Ale House Review Nisswa

The Main Street Ale House is located on the northwest of main street Nisswa. Nisswa has been voted as the best small town in Minnesota and others wonderful shopping, restaurants, and lake access. It is right up Highway 371 from Baxter and Brainerd Minnesota.

As you can tell from the photo it is pet friend! The Main Street Ale House has a nice size patio that is perfect for bringing your four-legged friend. In my case I brought two of them!

The menu is short & sweet, and they do offer a daily special. Here is the link to view it online Menu.

I have been there many times with my dog(s) and have always had friendly and attentive service. That is not always the case with patio dining, but it is certainly the case here!

Here are things I have had and recommend…

· Salt & Vinegar Wings – Brained chicken wings with salt and vinegar rub. Delicious!

· Peel & Eat Shrimp – great if you do not mind getting your hands dirty.

· Brisket in mac & cheese – I was doubtful about this one, but Brie (the server) talked me into it. Ok, it was wonderful and lots to eat! Topped with BBQ sauce…you just need to try this.

Always was wonderful experience, I give it five stars *****!

What to do when you are done? Walk down main street to Chocolate Ox for an ice cream cone. Beware the servings are so large just order one scoop!
