Mallards in Bloomington is located at 2300 W 80^th ½ Street. They are open weekdays from 11am to 10pm, Saturday from 8am to 11pm and Sunday 8am to 9pm. They accept reservations with OpenTable, and you can also call 952-855-7779. Their website is https://www.mallardsmn.com/.

They received a 4.4 on 673 google reviews and 4.3 on Facebook with 307 reviews.

I give an extra half a star rating for dog friendly restaurants with an outside patio. Mallards allow dogs on the patio, so they get an extra half star. The interior is open and is very plain and a little boring. The interior was tidy, and the bathroom was clean. The bar area is surrounded by windows and is the most attractive space in the restaurant.

Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Food was served warm.

The patio overlooks a busy street and a parking lot and could use plants and privacy.

• We were there for the weekly crab legs special. It is only $29.95 for a pound which is plentiful and very tasty. It was a value for only $29.95.

I have been there once before for the lobster roll which was exceptional!

I give it 4.5 stars out of five. The crab was wonderful, the service was efficient and friendly, had a patio for dogs, and not an interesting interior. The 4.5-star rating includes an extra half a point for a dog friendly patio. I would go there again!
