French Meadow Bakery & Cafe Review

French Meadow Bakery & Cafe was founded in 1985 and six ago at this St Paul location. The menu is filled w*+ith gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. They also can make changes to most items. Many visitors have serious dietary concern and are appreciative to this wonderful flexibly. Located 1662 Grand Ave in St Paul, Minnesota. It has a 4.3 Goggle rating with 741 reviews and a  4.4 out of 5 rating from open table.

Our impressions

I found it to have an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, Also, low key and family friendly. Spoke to Josh the assistant manager. He mentioned most people that work at French Meadow have been there since the opening. In addition, the staff feels like it is a big family. You can tell the people who work there enjoy their jobs and each other. Our waitress was Samantha who came here from San Diego. She was delightful, charming and well informed. We could tell by the foods that the chef’s love to cook and be creative.

Blackened Fish Tacos

Served with high mahi. Also has firecracker slaw, pickled red onion and radish. Also, not to forget the mixed organic greens, fresh cilantro-lime aioli and white balsamic dressing. I loved it and will order it again next time I’m there!

Miso Salmon

This Absolutely wonderful salmon with organic garlic mashed potatoes. Also served with sautéed greens. Enough for two small meals.

Dessert

Chocolate dipped macarons. Just something light and fun

Our Drinks

I had the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc – Kim Crawford. It was perfect with fish.

Would I go there again?

Been there numerous times already. In so, I will go there again and again. This is one of my favorites. Also, it is my daughters’ favorite restaurant. This is a must visit restaurant. Even if you don’t have special dietary concerns!
