The History of Blaine

The city of Blaine Minnesota is a suburb and part of the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area. It is a city in Anoka County in the state of Minnesota. The first permanent resident was Greenberry Townsend. He was a former slave that moved north from Kentucky after the American Civil War. After WWII housing developments changed the area from a rural one to more of a suburban one.

This is 500 acres of protected open space. The parks feature hundreds of miles of wonderful trails, woods and wildlife. The unemployment rate is 2.6%. And the median home price is $263,500. Meanwhile the median age is 37.3 years old. Lastly, the median income is $73,496.

To summarize, I have found Blaine to be a popular suburb. Importantly, it features highly rated schools. As well as lots of parks and community activities. In short, I suggest considering Blaine if you’re planning on moving to the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
