I had the pleasure to interview Jeff Blixt who is the President and owner of Inspectahomes which is the oldest and largest inspection company in the Midwest. Inspectahomes has been doing inspections for 30 years and has done over 150,000 inspections in the Twin Cities area.

A home inspection is a critical part of a real estate transaction and in this interview we discuss the need for one, the inspection industry and what is needed to be an inspector, the scope of the home inspection, if the buyer should be present, how the process works if you have findings that need to be addressed, what radon is and how it is tested and if found how it is addressed, how long an inspection takes and what it includes, how the results are reviewed and how quickly does the buyer receive the detailed report and much more!
